So Beautiful...

Great shoot this morning! Such a beautiful family. This is why I love my job. I got to make a bottle, hold a sweet sleeping baby girl and then give her back when it's all over. (I really miss those baby days but I'd rather be 40 than pregnant.) Little "A" is a really good baby though and makes you say, "oh maybe one more"? Then I gather up my senses and remember I have six and that's enough. (My husband is saying, "NO DOUBT"!) Adam and Brandy, I just love you guys. Thanks for coming out!

Welcome Home...

Welcome Home! SPC. Harris, Russell D. of the 20th QM 101st Airborne Division. Thursday morning, 5am, the Harris girls and I anxiously awaited for Russ's plane to land. It is always such a privilege to photograph my military families. I love them and they hold such a special place in my heart. Being a part of Oplove is something I'm really proud of. But photographing Russ and Kendra's family is extra special! I photographed them back in Oct during his R&R. Even then I was in awe of their strength and inspiring attitude. Life is hard enough even for us average joes but add a deployed husband, raising two small children and battling cancer. Well, needless to say I think they are pretty amazing! So happy to hear Kendra is now in remission. Thank you so much for having me there. It was wonderful to be a part of your Homecoming! I love you guys!
