Beautiful Beginnings | Clarksville tn, Nashville tn, Hopkinsville ky Birth and Newborn Photographers

I am so very excited to announce this! I have been looking for a way to offer birth photography to my clients but wasn't finding anything that was feasible for Classic Creations Photography...until now! I would love to offer birth photography but it just doesn't fit into my schedule well. As any of you mommas know, baby will come when she is good and ready...and that may mean midnight photos for a birth photographer as well as several hours of waiting. I am a very busy studio and I just couldn't see how to do this and not have the uncertainty of the "session" times overlapping with another session. Birth photography is also a very lifestyle photography type of session and that isn't what I do for the most part. 

My joy is in posing babies and planning props and sets to create artistic portraits of them. It really takes a very special person to be a birth photographer and to be good at it at that. It really is a specialty all its own.

 

 

 

 

 

Then one morning while having coffee with my good friend  Faith Doggett of Faith Doggett Photography we came up with the idea of possibly collaborating our talents and loves and that was when Beautiful Beginnings was born! Everything just seemed to fall into place! Faith is an amazing birth photographer and awesome lifestyle photographer.  It is definitely her passion and area of great talent. Beautiful Dancer | Clarksville TN, Nashville TN, Hopkinsville KY dance photographer

This girl was amazing! I have been doing some dance portrait sessions for a few local commercials and miss Jann here was just simply stunning and such a pleasure to work with. She is so quiet but full of spunk at the same time. She is a very powerful dancer and oh so talented. We did some studio shots as well as outdoors. Dance is such a beautiful and interesting art form. it is expression without words. Dance expresses feelings and things that are beyond words. Things word fail to describe. Ph0otography can capture a quick fleeting moment and preserve it. Moments quicker than the eye can see. When you combine the two and use photography to capture those powerful moments in dance that normally go by too quickly you get...art.

I know I am known for my maternity, newborn and baby photography but I have another love...I love high school seniors! They are so fun and they are not afraid to be silly or crazy sometimes. They are willing to try new things and open to most of my crazy ideas. I love being able to capture a young person's unique personality in their senior portraits. This gorgeous young lady was so sweet, down to earth and was such a breath of fresh air. She has a great future ahead of her and I am glad she chose me to capture this time in her life. It may be the end of one chapter of her life as she graduates high school, but it is most definitely just the beginning of her amazing future!

Dance Portraits Part 1 | Clarksville TN, Nashville TN, Hopkinsville KY Photographer

I love dance. Everything about it! As a former dancer it is still in my bones. It is one of my passions. Having the opportunity to photograph dancers and create art is such a blessing and I couldn't be happier! I was asked to shoot some dancers for some local commercials and I had the best time with these sessions. I absolutely love shooting outdoors, especially in nature when possible. I do also enjoy studio work which gives a whole different feel to a dance image as well. (Which is why this post is titled "part 1"). Today, in this post I wanted to share some of my favorite outdoor dance portraits with you. I do offer Dance Portrait sessions as one of our Signature Sessions.

A Special Maternity | Hemet, CA, Clarksville TN Maternity Photographer

Back in November (yes I am behind on blogging) I was blessed to be able to go back home to Southern California to photograph my cousin's wedding. While I was there I also was blessed with the opportunity to do my Sister in Law's maternity pictures.
