Twins in the Studio!! | Clarksville, TN Twin Newborn Baby Photographer

I had the absolute pleasure of having these two sweet babies in my studio a couple weeks ago. I am so in love! They were the sweetest things. Baby brother didn't want to sleep at first. He wanted to see what was going on while sister slept soundly but once he was asleep he did so good! 

They were both so tiny and precious at a little over 2 weeks old and only a few days out of the hospital. I gotta say...during this session, they made me wish I had twins! But since we are done having babies of our own now, I will settle for cuddling them when I can :)

Well this year has definitely been a year of blessings and growth. I have grown as a business and as a photographer. I have been blessed with some awesome photografriends and some new mentors. I have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy after 2 miscarriages in less than 6 months. I have a wonderful husband and between the two of us we have 6 amazing kids! I have an awesome heavenly father who has brought me through so much and has completely turned my life around in ways I would have never imagined! Who knew I would end up in Tennessee and be a photographer and have an awesome family?? 

Well, our most recent blessing was last Night as we won the title of Best Studio Photographer in the March of Dimes Best of Clarksville event!! I am still in awe and so humbled and honored! I have dreamed of winning this but was just thankful for the exposure for the business regardless of who won. I truly have the most awesome fans, clients and friends! Photography is my passion. I love kids and babies and Classic Creations Photography allows me to combine both into beautiful works of art and precious creative memories for you to cherish for a lifetime. 

So I am just so excited we won Best Photographer in Clarksville! I am still in shock. The March of Dimes also raised well over the $75,000 goal this year and there were record breaking crowds! As a mom and as a Maternity, Baby & Family Photographer I absolutely LOVE the fact that the money raised will help premature babies and help mothers to reach full term in their pregnancies.

 I am in love! I have had quite a few newborns in the studio recently and I am in baby heaven! I am loving cuddling all these tiny bundles of sweetness! There is nothing better than laying your cheek on a soft, warm baby head! I know I have gotten behind on blog posting but I am trying to catch up. I wanted to share some of my favorite images from the sessions.

What to Wear - September issue | Clarksville, TN photographer

Wondering what to wear for fall pictures? Well here is some inspiration for September.

Fall is coming and it has already started cooling off. Many photo sessions will be taking place outside so here are some outdoor clothing tips. It's that time of year it can be a little chilly but still too warm for a coat. Start introducing layers especially with children. Layers will look cute and as your child starts moving around...a lot...as kids do you can take a layer off and they still look good for the rest of the pictures. This can also come in handy with little ones if they trip and fall and get dirty...just take a layer off and voila! Still looking nice for pictures! Always keep location in mind when choosing footwear. Many sessions in fall take place in the trees  and "off the beaten path" so to speak. Remember you will most likely be wandering around in grass, dirt, hiking paths and maybe even through some brush. It will depend on location and how adventurous your family and your photographer is. Comfortable but stylish shoes are a must. Boots work well and look cute on young girls paired with dresses. Make sure if you wear any heel that it is a short wide heel for walking around in nature. Browns not only go with just about everything but wont show any dust or dirt that may get on them while walking around, sitting , standing with toddlers that step on your feet, etc.
