Baby Seth is getting so big! He is starting to look so much like his Daddy but I can see some of his momma in him too! I adore this family. I have been doing their portraits ever since momma's maternity portraits with his big sister. I love that I have been able to be a part of their lives through Sister Kahlan's first year and beyond and now Seth's first year as well. Seth and Kahlan have two very loving parents that would do anything for them. I also would like to say welcome home to Seth's Daddy who is now home from deployment. Thank you for giving of yourself and sacrificing for our freedom. I hope all these images I have captured will help you to feel more like you were here and to be able to be a part of Seth's first year even when you are half a world away.

I just love this girl! I have been photographing miss Hayley for several years ...I believe since she was two...and I really enjoy watching her grow up and mature. She was such an active little one! She was one of my more challenging clients but each year she gets better and better. I get so happy when I can catch some big and authentic smiles from her! She is so full of life and just wants to experience all of it and just takes everything in around her. She doesn't just watch life happening around her, she livers it and feels it and enjoys it!

A Perfect Princess - Imagination Sessions | Clarksville tn child photographer

 There is just something magical about Children and imaginative play. I absolutely love bringing back classic childhood in photos. The days when there were  no cell phones or video games but kids would spend all day outside [playing make believe and exploring. The best thing about these Imagination Sessions are the candid shopts of kids just being kids. The joy and absolute perfectness af a child at play, lost in a magical world.

SANTA IS COMING TO THE STUDIO!!

It's almost time! The holidays are coming ...and so is Santa for our very popular Santa Sessions!

Santa is coming to the studio Nov 8th and I am so excited for the sessions this year! We are stepping up our game and doing so many new things! Mrs Claus will be here as well to spend time with the kids. Your kids will love their Santa experience!

With the smell of cookies and Christmas while holiday music plays, Not only will your child get to visit with Santa and Mrs Claus but then after their special photo time they can enjoy some cookies and milk from our "Milk & Cookie Bar" and look through their goodie bag while you pick out you your holiday card design.

Not only that but also about a week or so before the session your child will receive a personal letter in the mail from Santa himself calling them by name and expressing how he can't wait too see him/her and take a picture with him/her! 

How awesome is that??

These sessions book very quickly so reserve your spot soon to get first pick at time slots.

Newborn Sweetness Clarksville Tn Newborn Baby Photographer

Baby Layla was such a sweetheart. She was so cute and slept so well for her session. I just love her dark curly hair! 

All the soft colors and textures used for this session were just perfect for her. She is definitely the apple of Momma and daddy's eye! Layla and her parents were such a sweet family to work with and photograph. I really enjoyed spending time with them and their precious baby girl.

 The most important thing to finding the right photographer for you is to find one that you click with. One that cares for you and your family and one that loves what he or she does. If you have small children you need a photographer that is good with kids. if you have a high school senior you need a photographer that specializes in seniors and one that your young adult will be comfortable with. I absolutely love working with newborns(my specialty) babies, children and families. This is where my passion lies and this is what I am good at. I love all things vintage. I love light and colors especially soft colors. I love a little whimsy in my photographs. I love capturing emotion and expression, not just a pretty smile. I love creating art for your walls and to show off to your friends. Heirloom pieces that will last a lifetime.

My good friend Elizabeth of Elizabeth Thompson Photography made a behind the scenes video of one of her newborn sessions and I had the honor of assisting her. Inspired by her video, the wheels started turning and ideas started coming to me. I contacted the talented Zac Johnson of The AV Suite and he brought my vision to life in this behind the scenes video peek
