Sweet Baby Kyleigh | Clarksville TN Newborn Baby Photographer

Sweet baby Kyleigh was such a joy to photograph. I really enjoyed cuddling her and getting to know her parents. I love when you just instantly click with someone and Kyleigh's mom and I clicked right away! Born at only 5 lbs 14 oz miss Kyleigh was tiny and perfect and she slept so well. I almost didn't want to give her back! Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

I had the absolute pleasure of having these two sweet babies in my studio a couple weeks ago. I am so in love! They were the sweetest things. Baby brother didn't want to sleep at first. He wanted to see what was going on while sister slept soundly but once he was asleep he did so good! 

They were both so tiny and precious at a little over 2 weeks old and only a few days out of the hospital. I gotta say...during this session, they made me wish I had twins! But since we are done having babies of our own now, I will settle for cuddling them when I can :)

I am blessed...I just LOVE babies! and I have been blessed with newborn sessions lately. My absolute favorite sessions are these sweet sweet new babies! I just love their smell and laying my cheek on their soft heads and just cuddling them! There is nothing as precious as a brand new baby. For this one we laid baby on a warm (but not hot) seat and he just snuggled right in like it was where he was supposed to be. Mom was ducking down behind the bike with a hand on baby the whole time.

More Newborn Sweetness | clarksville tn newborn and baby photographer

I have been blessed the past few days with my favorite type of clients....newborns! I have really been enjoying these wonderfully tiny and cute clients of mine.This precious little girl was the cutest thing! She was very wide eyed and fought the sleepiness for most of the session but we were still able to get some cute "open-eyed" shots. We wrapped her to keep her all warm and snuggly...just in case she wanted to take a nap but she didn't want her arms in the wrap. She wanted to be free to move so we let her and when she did finally fall asleep she put her hands into her favorite pose, holding her own fingers. So cute! We got some cute shots and then she finally fell asleep and these are the adorable images we captured:

I love newborn sessions! This particular session was special to me though. Momma had contacted me about doing this session which was originally planned for January. She was due around the same time as I was(literally within a couple days) so we were going to work around both births. Well my baby came 4 weeks early....and so did hers! This sweet baby girl was born one day after my son was born! We were Facebook-ing each other while in the hospital! I had such a wonderful time with her during the session and big (2yr old) brother wanted to help out so bad and wanted to keep an eye on what I was doing with his baby sister to make sure she was ok. It was so cute!

A Christmas Surprise |clarksville tn newborn photographer

I'm back! I know, I know...I have not been a very good blogger lately. You may also be wondering who this super cute baby belongs to. Well, after a very, very busy fall and Christmas photography season I was getting ready to relax and spend some time with my family and even put up some new blog posts....and then....Our beautiful baby boy decided to come 4 weeks early on December 21st...just in time for Christmas! So now I am finally settled and back to blogging. I just wanted to announce our baby's arrival and let you all know I have not fallen off the face of the earth. I am still here and we are back into the swing of things. I am also enjoying my new baby and also loving the opportunity to do my own baby's newborn pictures. It is so important to have some great heirloom images of your baby to cherish forever and for me, It is an honor to be able to create those images of my child myself.

It was definitely a wonderful week at the studio with all these sweet little babies! I just had to share some images from this newborn session also. This baby was definitely a challenge, She made us work for these images. She did not want to sleep. She wanted to see everything going on. We actually had to split up the session with her. The first visit we got images with mom and dad and then she was done so mom brought her back for a second visit so we could get these sweet images below:

I LOVE newborns!! A newborn portrait session is one of my most favorite to do! It is also one of the longest and most work but it is well worth the time and effort! This little guy was only about 6 weeks old and sooo sweet! He was so precious! He was getting ready for some major surgery soon and so we just had to capture some precious memories! I have been very blessed with a plethora of newborn portrait sessions lately and I am loving every minute of it! This precious little angel is so adorable as you can see. I did her parents' maternity portraits and I have been waiting for this session! Grandma and Great Grandma also joined us as well as cousin {B}.
