Emma is one of my favorite little girls. I have been photographing her since her newborn pictures. I absolutely love that I get to watch her grow up through my lens. She was the original inspiration for my Imagination Sessions. I was discussing her photo shoot with her mom a while back and brainstorming on a theme for my summer limited edition session when Mom mentioned that she loves dress up and princesses. Well that was all I needed and the ideas came flooding in. Here are the highlights from her princess session.

Of course every once in a while... during some of my sessions...fairies seem to just show up. We never know when they will stop by to see us...but they do.

Lemonade Anyone? | Clarksville, TN Children Photographer

This would have to be one of my favorite sessions ever! I love these girls so much and I enjoy watching them grow up. It seems every time they come in for pictures they are so much bigger! They had a lot of fun and so did I! For this session we did a lemonade stand theme. I have been dying to do this for over a year now. I tried to build a lemonade stand last spring but ended up with a pile of wood and bent nails and tears, Ha ha! Hubby took over and built me this wonderful stand! Due to some life events I was not able to do the sessions last year so the idea has just been sitting inside me and it was sooo hard to not say anything for a whole year!


  I think one of my favorite props in this set up is the super cute paper straws I found from HeyYoYo on etsy.com. I remember my dad telling me about paper straws when I was a kid and I could never comprehend how paper could make a straw. When I came across this etsy shop and saw the paper straws not only did they perfectly fit for the photos but it brought me back to that moment in time as a little girl sitting with my daddy while he told me about paper straws.

Mother Daughter Portraits | Clarksville TN Family and Child Photographer

I promise, I wont bombard you with blog posts today. I just had to share one more. (Stay tuned tomorrow for a beautiful maternity session peek!)

 

This was such a special session for me. I have been photographing this family since baby girl was growing in mommas tummy. Right after her first birthday pictures they moved out of state. Momma and baby girl came to clarksville for a visit and while they were here I got to do some mother daughter portraits with them! I was so excited to see them again and to take their pictures too! We stopped in a flower field for a few shots and then moved on the the main spot. Baby girl was definitely a tough cookie! She made us really work and wasn't sure she liked a camera pointed at her  but I think we got some really good images. 

This was how she put baby to sleep. Ha ha!

This one I thought was so adorable! These images just go so well together I couldn't bear to separate them. <3 <3

Live Bunny & Chicks - A great success! | Clarksville, TN baby photographer

This year's live bunny & baby chick sessions were the best ever! We had 21 kids come through here that weekend for bunny pictures...but I think thew chicks were more popular than the bunny! We all had a great time! A super big thank you to Dave for building us the fence. I love this prop and you will be seeing more of this fence in some future sessions. I also want to thank my friend Jenn Smith of JLS Modern Images for stopping by to hang out and help us out. Animal sessions can be quite chaotic sometimes...you never know what will happen! Live Bunny Sessions are Now Booking | Clarksville tn children and baby photographer

We are now booking our very popular Spring/Easter bunny sessions for March 10 & 11!! This year we will be venturing outdoors for a fun "garden theme". we will have a live bunny rabbit and some baby chicks too! I think last year the baby chicks were a bigger hit than Mr Wiggles the bunny was!

 The session is 20-30 minutes and you will have 5-10 images to choose from in a private online album. Spaces are limited so reserve yours soon. These fill up quickly.

There is a $25 session fee which is prepaid to reserve your spot.
