Sweet baby Kyleigh was such a joy to photograph. I really enjoyed cuddling her and getting to know her parents. I love when you just instantly click with someone and Kyleigh's mom and I clicked right away! Born at only 5 lbs 14 oz miss Kyleigh was tiny and perfect and she slept so well. I almost didn't want to give her back! Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

 The most important thing to finding the right photographer for you is to find one that you click with. One that cares for you and your family and one that loves what he or she does. If you have small children you need a photographer that is good with kids. if you have a high school senior you need a photographer that specializes in seniors and one that your young adult will be comfortable with. I absolutely love working with newborns(my specialty) babies, children and families. This is where my passion lies and this is what I am good at. I love all things vintage. I love light and colors especially soft colors. I love a little whimsy in my photographs. I love capturing emotion and expression, not just a pretty smile. I love creating art for your walls and to show off to your friends. Heirloom pieces that will last a lifetime.

 I have been contemplating how to go about this for a long time and then My inspiration hit! My good friend Elizabeth of Elizabeth Thompson Photography made a behind the scenes video of one of her newborn sessions and I had the honor of assisting her. Inspired by her video, the wheels started turning and ideas started coming to me. I contacted the talented Zac Johnson of The AV Suite and he brought my vision to life in this behind the scenes video peek

Baby Girl Heaven | Clarksville, TN Newborn and Baby Photographer

Although I have been enjoying the many newborn baby boys that have been coming to the studio, I have also had the blessing to enjoy the presence of some sweet baby girls as well...well two baby girls recently. 

There is just something about an image of a sweet sleeping baby that just makes you feel all warm and snuggly inside! I absolutely love working with babies. I wanted to share a few images from these two girl sessions.

I have been blessed with an abundance of sweet baby boys in the studio lately! I just love baby boys! Now don't get me wrong, I love baby girls too!  I just love babies in general! 

With baby boys I love the challenge of finding cute ideas for the photo shoots. With a girls there are so many options available but for boys it is more limited so I have been on a mission to build up a good boy selection of props to add to my great selection of girl things.

 Having so many baby boys being born has given me the chance to  try them all out and I am so excited to share. So instead of clogging up your news feeds with a bunch of posts I am combining the last few newborn sessions into this post of some of my favorite images.

Newborn Sweetness | Clarksville, TN Newborn Photographer

Lately I have been blessed with an abundance of newborns in the studio. I just absolutely LOVE newborn babies! They are my favorite sessions to do! I just wanted to share a few images from a couple of recent newborn sessions. It is best to get your newborn in for their first pictures within the first week if possible but newborn pictures can be done up to 4 weeks.Newborns change so quickly and the sooner they come in for their session the easier it is to get those super cute poses. Babies stay curled up and are more flexible and sleep well during that first week of life. After that they start ":unfolding" which brings more of a challenge to photographing them but is definitely still do-able. Email me if interested in booking a session: kristina@kristinawhite.com

Twin Love!! | Clarksville, TN Newborn Photographer

This momma came in for her maternity session, I believe about a month before the babies were born. It is hard to believe that this tiny woman had two babies in there! She is the sweetest person you could ever meet. Well after a few weeks in the hospital the babies were finally able to come home and I got to come over to play!

 The girls were so sweet and still so tiny! They really didn't like to sleep too much and definitely didn't like to stay asleep at the same time so we rotated them a lot. As one would wake up the other would drift off the sleep. I am still working on the pictures but I just had to share a few of my favorites.
