Sweet Baby Kyleigh | Clarksville TN Newborn Baby Photographer

Sweet baby Kyleigh was such a joy to photograph. I really enjoyed cuddling her and getting to know her parents. I love when you just instantly click with someone and Kyleigh's mom and I clicked right away! Born at only 5 lbs 14 oz miss Kyleigh was tiny and perfect and she slept so well. I almost didn't want to give her back! Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

 The most important thing to finding the right photographer for you is to find one that you click with. One that cares for you and your family and one that loves what he or she does. If you have small children you need a photographer that is good with kids. if you have a high school senior you need a photographer that specializes in seniors and one that your young adult will be comfortable with. I absolutely love working with newborns(my specialty) babies, children and families. This is where my passion lies and this is what I am good at. I love all things vintage. I love light and colors especially soft colors. I love a little whimsy in my photographs. I love capturing emotion and expression, not just a pretty smile. I love creating art for your walls and to show off to your friends. Heirloom pieces that will last a lifetime.

 I have been contemplating how to go about this for a long time and then My inspiration hit! My good friend Elizabeth of Elizabeth Thompson Photography made a behind the scenes video of one of her newborn sessions and I had the honor of assisting her. Inspired by her video, the wheels started turning and ideas started coming to me. I contacted the talented Zac Johnson of The AV Suite and he brought my vision to life in this behind the scenes video peek          

into some Classic Creations Photography photo sessions.

Brotherly Love | Clarksville TN Baby and Family Photographer

I am in love with these images! I love my kids to pieces but have the hardest time getting them to take pictures. I think they got burnt out when I would make them pose for my school assignments. So when My 9 year old Johnny actually wanted to take pictures with his baby brother I jumped at the chance!

 Usually Johnny like to make faces and act goofy when I try to take his picture. I am so glad he cooperated and I got some great images that I can cherish forever of my two youngest children. Johnny just loves his baby brother and he enjoys being a BIG brother finally and I am so glad I now have images that capture their relationship!

  These pictures just make my heart happy....now if I could just get the teenagers to cooperate....but that's another story. For now I will just enjoy these moments captured in these images....now the hard part is deciding which ones to put on the wall and how big!

9 Month Portrait Fun!

It has been a while since I blogged. There has been so much going on! I have been really enjoying the spring sessions we have been doing recently, not to mention the live bunny sessions! Here is a peek at a really fun 9 month old session. She is one of my favorite little girls. I have been photographing her since birth and she just gets more fun each time!

I had so much fun with this adorable baby girl! I first met her this past December at our annual Santa Sessions and she was not too fond of sitting on Santa's lap. This time though she was all smiles! She had so much fun at her 6 month session and so did mom and I! This is such a fun age to photograph.

Oh the Sweetness of a Sleeping Baby | Clarksville TN Newborn and Baby Photographer

I just love sleeping babies! There is nothing like it. They just look so sweet and peaceful!

Staring into an image of a sleeping baby is very soothing...here is an image I captured today of my little one while he napped.

The only light used was the soft, yummy window light spilling in from across the room. No reflector, no studio light, no flash. 

I just wanted to share these with you and hope that maybe you will be inspired to capture one of the sweetest moments there is of your own children. A sleeping moment. It is moments like these that go so quickly and we will never have them back again...except in images.

Newborn Love | Clarksville tn newborn and baby photographer

I love newborn sessions! This particular session was special to me though. Momma had contacted me about doing this session which was originally planned for January. She was due around the same time as I was(literally within a couple days) so we were going to work around both births. Well my baby came 4 weeks early....and so did hers! This sweet baby girl was born one day after my son was born! We were Facebook-ing each other while in the hospital! I had such a wonderful time with her during the session and big (2yr old) brother wanted to help out so bad and wanted to keep an eye on what I was doing with his baby sister to make sure she was ok. It was so cute!
