Lately I have been blessed with an abundance of newborns in the studio. I just absolutely LOVE newborn babies! They are my favorite sessions to do! I just wanted to share a few images from a couple of recent newborn sessions. It is best to get your newborn in for their first pictures within the first week if possible but newborn pictures can be done up to 4 weeks.Newborns change so quickly and the sooner they come in for their session the easier it is to get those super cute poses. Babies stay curled up and are more flexible and sleep well during that first week of life. After that they start ":unfolding" which brings more of a challenge to photographing them but is definitely still do-able. Email me if interested in booking a session: kristina@kristinawhite.com

Oh the Sweetness of a Sleeping Baby | Clarksville TN Newborn and Baby Photographer

I just love sleeping babies! There is nothing like it. They just look so sweet and peaceful!

Staring into an image of a sleeping baby is very soothing...here is an image I captured today of my little one while he napped.

The only light used was the soft, yummy window light spilling in from across the room. No reflector, no studio light, no flash. 

I just wanted to share these with you and hope that maybe you will be inspired to capture one of the sweetest moments there is of your own children. A sleeping moment. It is moments like these that go so quickly and we will never have them back again...except in images.

I love newborn sessions! This particular session was special to me though. Momma had contacted me about doing this session which was originally planned for January. She was due around the same time as I was(literally within a couple days) so we were going to work around both births. Well my baby came 4 weeks early....and so did hers! This sweet baby girl was born one day after my son was born! We were Facebook-ing each other while in the hospital! I had such a wonderful time with her during the session and big (2yr old) brother wanted to help out so bad and wanted to keep an eye on what I was doing with his baby sister to make sure she was ok. It was so cute!

Announcing our valentine mini sessions!!

I am so excited about these! I originally had my hubby build this stand for some minis we will be doing this summer (so stay tuned for those) but when I got the idea for a kissing booth I just couldn't resist! So here they are...our valentine "Kissing Booth" minis. I have done a few of these sessions already and they are just super cute!!

There are two packages to choose from:

Both packages include the session and an online album with at least 8 images to choose from.

Package A

2-5x7's and your choice of either 15 valentine mini cards (wallet cards) or 10 4x8 photo cards $60

Package B

3 images on a CD with print release and your choice of either 30 valentine mini cards (wallet cards) or 10 4x8 photo cards $99

6 Month Portrait Bliss | Clarksville TN Baby Photographer

Recently I had the privilege of photographing one of my "first year" babies. We have a package that encompasses the entire first year milestones in photographs and this precious one is one of my favorites! She came in for her 6 month baby portrait session and I can't believe how much she has changed in only 3 months!! She is super sweet and just so adorable!

More Valentine Portraits | Clarksville TN Baby Photographer

I am really enjoying these Valentine sessions! I just did this session with two very adorable Girls. I just love them! I had the privledge of meeting them at a Christmas session we did and I am so glad I got the opportunity to do some Valentines portraits with them too. As you will see we really rocked the pettiskirt today! It was a lot of fun and we were able to try a lot of different things. I sure had a whole lot of fun and I am sure you will enjoy looking through the images. Thanks mom for having such great girls!!

6 Months Old and Oh So Cute!! | Clarksville TN Baby Photographer

I have been waiting for this session! I just love this pretty little baby girl! I have been photographing her since she was in her momma's tummy and She is so much fun to photograph! She is here to debut our newest addition to our hat collection here at Classic Creations! I love this hat and when you pair it with pearls it makes for some very precious pearls! We also did some spring pictures so they would be up on her walls in plenty of time for spring! It was interesting doing a spring theme while it is practically snowing outside but it was fun!

More Newborns !! | Clarksville TN Newborn and Baby PHotographer

I have been waiting to do this newborn session! I did momma's maternity session and just couldn't wait for the newborn session! This is such a great family to work with and baby "S" was sooo precious! She was a little cranky though. She didn't like the cute headbands on her head and she didn't like to be layed down. She loved being held though. With our patience and persistence we eventually got some really great images! I was so excited when I pulled the images off the camera and into my computer! I really love newborn sessions! I love to be able to capture the innocence, sweetness and peacefulness that comes with such a tiny new life. This little girl was actually about 4 weeks old but she has just hit over 5 lbs! she was 6 weeks early and still so tiny! I just loved her! Enjoy the sneak peek!
