I am looking for dancers of all ages and styles to be a part of this project. As a professional photographer and former dancer, I want to bring my two passions together in photographic art to capture the grace, style and expressions of the soul that only dance can communicate. Images from The Dancer Project sessions will be compiled into a collection of images to be displayed in my book and in framed art in the studio and possibly in local businesses.

Each dancer will get:

*a professional photoshoot at no cost

*an 8x10 print with a headshot, artistic portrait and action shot in collage form

*$25 studio credit

*studio discount (there is absolutely no obligation to purchase anything)

Photoshoots will take place in April and May.

Dancer requirements:

*must be willing to be in print. ie. calendar or book, photographic displays, etc).

*must sign a release form

A Model Sent From Heaven...A Newborn Experience | Clarksville TN Newborn and Baby Photographer

This week I had this precious little princess come in to model some of my crowns and my new pink bed. We have started a new "prop shop" for photographers. 

I will blog about that very soon. I am so excited about it!

She was just 7 days old and oh so sweet! She slept and slept and let us do all kinds of poses! She also modeled some gorgeous hats from Loops of Love .

You will be seeing more of her in future blogs but for now here are some super yummy images of this sweetheart modeling my crowns as well as an awesome ans super adorable outfit from Loops of Love. The bed pictured is only one of 3 in existence and the posts are antiques circa 1900-1920...yes my hubby makes awesome props!

Baby Boy Bliss | Clarksville TN Newborn Photographer

Isn't this the most precious baby boy?? I had the pleasure of photographing this little prince yesterday and I couldn't help but share a couple of the pictures from the session. I know I will probably blog about this session more later on but I just couldn't help myself and had to share these super cute bed images. I have been waiting a while for this session and was so excited to finally try out this bed. This little guy did not want to sleep. He was trying so hard to stay awake so he didn't miss anything that was going on. He was no match for grandma though, who finally succeeded in getting him to sleep. My original vision for this bed image was a naked baby pose but he wanted to be swaddled. So here you have the swaddled version of my vision which I think came out just as great. Mom and Dad brought a cute baseball hat, jacket and dad's game ball and we also did a really cute set up with those. He looks like he is passed out asleep after the big game :) Of course he is still swaddled as baby preferred. It just goes to show you how by just switching some props around you van get a whole other look without disturbing a very light sleeping baby. Enjoy the sneak peek!

**If you had a Fall or Christmas session with me, this is a great time to place final orders of prints before they aren't available anymore. This is the last month October pictures will be available. Remember I keep images for 4 months and then they must be archived or deleted to make room for all the new sessions.

6 Month Fun! |Clarksville tn baby photographer

I had so much fun with this adorable baby girl! I first met her this past December at our annual Santa Sessions and she was not too fond of sitting on Santa's lap. This time though she was all smiles! She had so much fun at her 6 month session and so did mom and I! This is such a fun age to photograph.
