It's that time again...
Time to start back up our popular camera basics classes. Fall get so busy for me so we take a break from the classes Oct-Dec but January is quickly approaching and classes are starting up again. This year we are also adding a second class that will focus more on the elements that make up a good picture (ie. subject placement, perspective, location, light etc) and will be using real child models! The first one these classes will be in March/April time frame so keep watching the monthly newsletters for the exact date announcement.

Working with newborns requires patience and skill. As a newborn photographer myself, meaning I specialize and am trained and experienced in this area, it can be very rewarding. I absolutely love working with multiples. Multiples bring their own unique challenges to a newborn session. Not only is there more than one baby to get to sleep and pose but many times these precious babies have come into the world very early or have spent some time in the NICU.Each set of multiples is unique in their needs for a newborn session. It is a good idea to find someone experienced with preemies and multiples. I team up with my good friend and professional newborn photographer Elizabeth Thompson for each multiples session we do. You receive not one but two experienced professional newborn photographers experienced with many multiples and many preemies. We are sensitive to your babies' needs and requirements for a safe and enjoyable newborn session.

I am so in love with this princess. She was so very sweet. Some babies are just so warm and snuggly feeling. Of course all newborns are but some just have something extra special about them.  Miss Aleighna was definitely one of those. I enjoyed her session so much. She was just perfect. I am a newborn photographer. it is my passion. I love creating art to cherish these first moments of life. God's blessings. Such tiny miracles that make such a huge impact on our lives, our hearts and our emotions.

...but I also enjoy children and families. I Have been blessed to watch many of my tiny clients grow into curious and beautiful children. Not only do we offer baby's first year packages but we also photograph beyond the first year as well. Many times children's portraiture is part of a family session but also can be done alone as a "childhood" session. I just love the imaginations of young children as they play and explore their world.








Recently we did a really fun "back to school" photo contest. Parents submitted an image of their child ready for their first day of school and everyone voted on their favorite image. The winner received a photo session and got to be featured at our booth at the Best of Clarksville.

 The beautiful miss Mikyla won! I had such a great time at her session and she was so sweet and just did an amazing job. She was great at following direction and she just has the most contagious smile. At first she wasn't sure what to think of me but quickly warmed up and we had a lot of fun.
